Full-Time Pastor Job Advertisement

Antioch Baptist Church is prayerfully searching for an individual who is called by God to serve alongside ministerial staff, the deacons, and the congregation to equip the body for ministry (Ephesians 4:11-14), to reach the lost (Matthew 28:18-20), to shepherd the congregation (1Peter 5:1-4), and to become an integral part of the Antioch Baptist Church family.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Satisfy the Scriptural standards for a pastor as expressed in 1st Timothy and Titus
  2. Maintain a consistent Christ-like character and lifestyle
  3. Communicate effectively through preaching, teaching, and writing
  4. Provide oversight and support for paid and volunteer staff
  5. Demonstrate competence in organization, administration, and interpersonal relationships
  6. Possess a desire to remain in a long-term (5-year minimum) ministry at Antioch Baptist Church
  7. Must be ordained in the Southern Baptist Church

Preferred Requirement:

  1. Possess a Graduate Degree from a Southern Baptist Seminary
