4 restaurant workers in northwest Ky. killed in morning crash


WHEATCROFT, Ky. (KT) – Four people were killed after a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, according to Kentucky State Police.

The city of Sturgis announced on Facebook that all four of the victims were employees at a newly opened restaurant called Fiesta Acapulco. The restaurant is reportedly closing early because of the tragic loss.

Sturgis Mayor Doug Rodgers said in a Tweet: “It is with a heavy heart that I announce Fiesta Acapulco Mexican will be closing early today due to 4 of their employees being killed in an accident this morning. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
