LOUISVILLE, Ky. (KT) – A fatigued mission team from Ninth & O Baptist Church arrived home safely to an awaiting family at the Louisville International Airport on Monday night, according to the church Facebook page.
The nine-member team to Ecuador had been delayed over the weekend because of a transportation strike and general unrest. They stayed an extra night with missionaries Chris and Carol Sills, then another night at the Cuenca airport and last night in Miami. They left for Ecuador on Sept. 27.
The church has been serving in Ecuador for about 15 years, said missions pastor Barry Ring.
