Police seek public’s help in search for man


LEXINGTON, Ky. (KT) -- Police in Lexington are asking for the public’s help in their search for a man wanted for a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday on Hollow Creek Road.

Officers are looking for 31-year-old Damarkus “Spice” Hill, for whom an active warrant on a murder charge was issued.

Police were dispatched around 4:45 p.m. for a reported shooting. The investigation revealed that the shooting occurred in the 400-block of Hollow Creek Road when Hill approached a car and fired multiple shots, striking a male passenger in the car. Hill then ran off. The driver of the car was not injured and drove to a home on Radcliffe Road.

The victim was taken to a Lexington hospital where he later died. The Fayette County Coroner identifies him as 22-year old Darius Bolden.

This was Lexington’s 21st homicide of the year.
